INFANTS AND TODDLERS

Holy Trinity offers a nursery on Sunday mornings beginning at 9 a.m. for parents wishing to attend Adult Formation and the 10:30 a.m. service.  The nursery provides care for children up to age 6, although parents are welcome to bring their babies or children to the service, if they prefer.  The nursery provides pagers to communicate with parents.

YOUNG CHILDREN (Preschool – Grade 5)

Holy Trinity nurtures its young children with a host of activities including Sunday School, Children’s Chapel, vacation Bible School, and other special events.

Sunday School – Teams of loving teachers guide children age 4 – grade 5 in learning about God, Jesus, the Bible, and the Church using the 3-year Episcopal Children’s Curriculum. This curriculum brings to life the Bible, liturgy, and traditions of the Episcopal Church.   Each year all the classes focus on Baptism, the Eucharist, or worship, plus a theme from the Hebrew Bible and one from the New Testament.  Over the years, children deepen their understanding of what it means to be a Christian as well as an Episcopalian through repeated age-appropriate encounters with the sacraments and the Bible.

Children’s Choir  The children sing in worship once a month during the 10:30am worship service. Click here for more information

Vacation Bible School – Holy Trinity joins with St. John’s Episcopal Church for Vacation Bible School, alternating the location each year.  Children from 3-12 engage in a week of fun and learning.

Children’s ChapelAll children are welcome and encouraged to attend the Eucharist with their parents, but as an option, a children’s chapel is available during the 10:30 Holy Eucharist for children below grade 3.

Other Special Events – The church organizes special activities for young children from time to time, usually around holidays and special church feast days.  Annual events include a Christmas pageant, an Easter egg hunt, and a Halloween party.

Come in to worship; go out to serve.
