Middleground Arts Series Presents Ensemble Sangineto's "Le Grand Tour" — A Voyage Through Italian Folk Traditions, Reimagined

Middleground Arts Series, in collaboration with Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, presents an evening of captivating music on November 1, 2023, featuring Ensemble Sangineto's newest project, "Le Grand Tour." The performance will begin at 7:30pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 1601 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina.

About the Event

Dive into the rich tapestry of "Le Grand Tour," an innovative concert journey that explores the music of Italy’s 20 regions, as reimagined by Ensemble Sangineto. Fresh interpretations infuse traditional Italian folk tunes with global influences, from the Alps to the Mediterranean Sea.

The evening sets the stage at 6:45pm with a pre-show "Tour of Italy" wine tasting and delectable small bites. Childcare will be provided, offering parents the freedom to immerse themselves fully in this unforgettable experience.

About Ensemble Sangineto

With Adriano Sangineto on the Celtic Harp and voice, Caterina Sangineto on bowed psaltery, flutes, voice, and bodhran, and Jacopo Ventura on guitar, bouzouki, and voice, the ensemble offers a cornucopia of sonic textures. From the tender polyphonic voices to punchy vibrant rhythms, they wield their instruments with imaginative flair, challenging traditional musical boundaries.
